As Israel's attacks on Iran continue, Iranian tourists entering Van from the border reacted to the events. An Iranian citizen, expressing their hatred for Israel, stated that they are not afraid at all and would go to war if necessary. The Iranian tourist also called out to Turkey, saying, "We expect our Turkish brothers to stand with us. They also hate Israel."
As the repercussions of Israel's attacks on various locations in Iran, particularly in Tehran and Tabriz, continue, Iranian citizens visiting Turkey for vacation or trade expressed their feelings at the Kapıköy Customs Gate.
DOMINANT FEELING: REVENGE
Some Iranian tourists, describing Israel's attacks as "unacceptable," stated that there is a strong sense of anger and desire for revenge in their country.
THEY FEAR FURTHER ESCALATION
Citizens expressed that the attacks not only targeted military objectives but also directly affected the morale of the people, and they reacted to the silence of the global public opinion. Citizens closely following the developments expressed their concerns about the potential for further escalation in the region.
"WE ARE A BIT DISTRESSED"
Expressing his feelings after the attacks, an Iranian tourist named Abdullah Hoseyin said, "Things are getting very heated between Iran and Israel. There have been casualties among both civilians and commanders. We are a bit distressed about this. On the other hand, there is a feeling of revenge. There are different opinions in Iran, but generally, the reactions are the same. As far as I understand, the steps Iran is taking will lead to a tougher situation."
"NO FEAR IN IRAN, I WOULD GO IF WAR BREAKS OUT"
Another Iranian tourist, expressing their hatred for Israel, stated, "We hate Israel. We are waiting for our bombs to go to Israel, hopefully. There is no fear in Iran. A couple of bombs have come, but they should know that many will go from us to them. If war breaks out, of course, I would go, we all would."
REQUEST FOR SUPPORT FROM TURKEY
Addressing Turkey, the Iranian citizen said, "We expect our Turkish brothers to act together with us. They also hate Israel."
