Israel continues its attacks on neighboring countries. In a statement made by the Israeli army, it was asserted that military infrastructure allegedly belonging to Hezbollah was targeted in southern Lebanon.
"WE STRUCK SOUTHERN LEBANON WITH FIGHTER JETS"
The statement noted that fighter jets belonging to the Israeli Air Force struck an underground facility used by Hezbollah in the El-Shakif region of southern Lebanon, emphasizing that these infrastructure elements violated the agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon. The statement also included, "The army will continue its efforts to eliminate any threat to the state of Israel."
MAJOR DAMAGE IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS DUE TO THE ATTACK
Lebanese sources did not report any casualties from the attack; however, they stated that material damage occurred in residential areas due to the attack, with windows broken in homes and shops.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Last November, Israel had reached a ceasefire decision aimed at ending the war with Hezbollah. However, Israel continues to carry out attacks on various locations in Lebanon, especially in the southern regions, claiming that it still targets Hezbollah elements.
The agreement also foresaw Israel's withdrawal from the positions it had advanced to during previous conflicts by January 26; however, the Israeli army still maintains its presence on five strategic hills in the country.
