A mocking post was made by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Madleen ship, which was on its way to Gaza for humanitarian aid and was attacked by Israel. The ministry shared a post featuring the world-renowned climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was on the ship that was attacked with chemical agents, stating "In good spirits."
The Israeli military, which continues its massacres in Gaza, has made another move that will draw the international community's reaction. The Israeli army intervened with the Madleen ship, which set sail from the city of Catania in Sicily, Italy, on June 1, aiming to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
In a statement from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), it was noted that contact with the Madleen ship was lost, and it was stated that "Israeli forces raided the ship." It was reported that 12 human rights defenders, including Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, Irish actor Liam Cunningham, European Parliament member Rima Hassan, and Turkish activists Şuayb Ordu and Yasemin Acar, were kidnapped by Israeli forces. In footage shared by the FFC, the 12 individuals on the Madleen ship were seen raising their hands in the air as Israeli forces boarded the ship. It was reported that Israeli forces flew drones around the ship before boarding, interfered with signal jammers, and sprayed tear gas.
"THE SHIP IS UNDER ATTACK"
In a statement released by the group organizing the initiative, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, it was stated, "The Madleen is currently under attack in international waters. Four propeller drones surrounding the ship are spraying a white irritant substance. Communication is being interfered with by jammers, and disturbing sounds are heard from the radio." In footage of the intervention that occurred shortly after, activists could be heard saying, "We are being intervened," and directives were given to the activists to "drop your phones." The group called for international pressure to ensure their safety.

In a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was claimed that the sole purpose of the 12 human rights defenders, including Greta Thunberg, was to "draw public attention," and it was stated, "The celebrity-laden selfie yacht is safely heading towards the Israeli coast. Passengers are expected to return to their own countries."
In the statement, it was claimed, "While a media provocation is being staged with less material than a truckload of aid, over 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel in just the last two weeks. Additionally, the Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation has directly distributed approximately 11 million meals to civilians in Gaza," and it was stated, "There are ways to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip. These ways do not include Instagram selfies."
It was asserted that the aid on the Madleen ship would be delivered to Gaza through "real" channels, and it was stated, "All passengers on the selfie yacht are safe and unharmed. They were given sandwiches and water. The show is over." The Israeli forces towed the Madleen aid ship to Ashdod Port.
ISRAEL ANNOUNCED THAT ACTIVISTS ON THE MADLEEN SHIP WILL BE SENT BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES
In a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, information was provided regarding the situation of the 12 activists on the Madleen ship.
The statement noted that the Madleen ship, which was detained by the Israeli army approximately 185 kilometers away from the Gaza Strip, was taken to Israel, and it was announced that the activists would be sent back to their countries.
THERE ARE 12 PEOPLE ON THE SHIP
As part of the last mission organized by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, a civil society organization aiming to break the blockade on Gaza and deliver aid to the region, the 18-meter sailing vessel set sail for Gaza from the San Giovanni Li Cuti Port in Catania, Italy, on June 1.
The activists on the Madleen ship had announced that they would maintain their peaceful stance and would not resist in the event of an intervention by the Israeli army.
The Israeli army had intervened with the Madleen ship, which aimed to break the blockade on Gaza.
On board were 12 people, including Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament (EP), Yasemin Acar, a German citizen, as well as Şuayb Ordu from Turkey, Thiago Avila from Brazil, Sergio Toribio from Spain, Marco van Rennes from the Netherlands, Baptiste Andre, Reva Viard, Pascal Maurieras, and Yanis Mhamdi from France, Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, and journalist Omar Faiad.

SPAIN GAVE A NOTE TO ISRAEL
After the Israeli blockade of the Freedom Flotilla, which was carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and included a Spanish citizen among the 12 activists, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the chargé d'affaires at the Israeli Embassy in Madrid to the ministry.
