Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a call for shopping at the market despite the general boycott call. Sharing those moments, Yerlikaya stated, "Together with our nation, united from 7 to 77, we will move towards the goal of a Great and Strong Turkey. We will continue to support our local production and stand by our tradespeople."

After the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu in the corruption investigation against the İBB, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel called for a boycott of certain brands. While the number of brands has gradually increased during the process, he made a general call for a boycott today.

MINISTER YERLİKAYA ALSO WENT SHOPPING

In response to the boycott, ministers took action. Some ministers went to supermarkets to do their shopping. One of them was Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.

"BOYCOTT CALLS ARE A BETRAYAL OF OUR NATION'S LABOR"

Ali Yerlikaya chatted with citizens while shopping in the supermarket. Sharing those moments on his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya said: "Calls for boycotts against our local and national products and tradespeople are a direct betrayal of our country's and nation's labor. Together with our people, we will move forward towards the goal of a Great and Strong Turkey, united from 7 to 77. We will continue to support our local production and stand by our tradespeople. Because the time is the Time for National Support."
