In Adana, an 18-year-old young man stabbed and killed the father of another young man who was bothering him by making comments to his girlfriend. It was reported that the suspect, who was caught three hours after the incident, stated in his testimony, "They attacked us, I didn't do it."

On March 31, Monday, around 23:30, a brutal incident occurred on 1141st Street in the 19 Mayıs neighborhood of Yüreğir district in Adana. According to the allegation; a girl named S.N.Ş. (16) told her boyfriend M.T. (18) that T.Y. (18) had been bothering her by making comments.
HE KILLED THE FATHER OF THE YOUNG MAN WHO HARASSED HIS GIRLFRIEND
M.T., who lives in the same area, encountered T.Y.'s father, Engin Yıldız (37). A fight broke out after a discussion escalated with the involvement of both families. During the fight, M.T. stabbed Yıldız in the groin and fled. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Medical teams transported the severely injured Yıldız to Yüreğir State Hospital. Despite the interventions made here, Yıldız could not be saved and lost his life.
CAUGHT 3 HOURS LATER
Teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Provincial Police Department conducted operations to capture the suspect M.T. In the operation, the police apprehended the suspect in a house where he was hiding in the same neighborhood, 3 hours after the incident.
HE DEFENDED HIMSELF SAYING "I DIDN'T DO IT"
The suspect, taken to the police station, reportedly defended himself by saying, "They attacked us, I didn't do it." After his procedures, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court he was brought before. It was also claimed that S.N.Ş. stated, "M.T. is my boyfriend, we were thinking about getting married in the future."
