The incident occurred in Gönüllü village, in the Gercüş district of Batman. Rojhat Kavak, one of the village residents, encountered a striped hyena in the mountainous area he went to in order to graze his animals.
Kavak, noticing the animal, which is under threat of extinction, recorded those moments with his mobile phone.
IT MOVED FREELY ACROSS THE STEEP ROCKS
In the footage, the striped hyena was seen moving easily among the steep rocky cliffs. After inspecting its surroundings in the area for a while, the hyena then disappeared from view in the mountainous terrain.
