THE BETTING SCANDAL WAS REVEALED BY THE ANKARASPOR–NAZİLLİSPOR MATCH
Journalist Tahir Kum announced that the comprehensive betting investigation initiated by the TFF began with the Ankaraspor–Nazillispor match.
Kum, who participated in the HT Sport live broadcast, stated, "The beginning of this incident was the match played between Ankaraspor and Nazillispor, which had a high volume of betting."
"THE BEGINNING WAS ANKARASPOR–NAZİLLİSPOR"
Kum detailed the background of the incident, saying, "The beginning of this incident was the match played between Ankaraspor and Nazillispor, which had a legal process lasting about 1.5 to 2 years. Very serious penalties were imposed on the club president, executives, and players. The investigation revealed that many club executives, players, and presidents had engaged in high-volume betting. Following this, an investigation was initiated regarding 3,700 individuals from the football family related to both national and international betting companies."
