Winter has once again shown its face in the Karapınar district of Konya, known as one of the driest and least rainy regions of Turkey. The rain and snowfall that covered the district in white were particularly welcomed by farmers.

The effective rain and snowfall in the district especially covered the environment in white in rural neighborhoods. While the cultivated areas in the villages of the district were covered with a blanket of snow, it was stated that this would positively contribute to agricultural production.
