In the Mut district of Mersin, it has been revealed that 19-year-old Emre Kanat, who was sought as missing after no news was received for a long time, lost his life in a motorcycle accident.
According to the information obtained, a search operation was initiated after no news was received from Emre Kanat, who resided in the Aşağı Köselerli neighborhood of Mut district and was known to work at a market in the Sertavul Plateau. His relatives, searching in the Balcıkışla area of Palantepe neighborhood on the Mut-Silifke highway, found the young man fallen into a pit in the reedy area of the embankment along with his motorcycle.
THE EXACT CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY RESULTS
Upon notification of the situation, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that Kanat had died at the scene. After the gendarmerie teams' investigation, the young man's lifeless body was first sent to the morgue of Mut State Hospital and then to the Mersin Forensic Medicine Institute for the definitive determination of the cause of death.
The investigation into the incident continues.
