Our representatives competing in the EuroLeague, Fenerbahçe Beko and Anadolu Efes, issued a joint press release due to the EuroLeague's decision regarding Israel.
Fenerbahçe Beko and Anadolu Efes issued a joint statement regarding the possible decision that Israeli teams will be able to play their home games in Israel again starting from December 1, 2025, in the EuroLeague.
Here is the statement made by the two clubs:
"In the EuroLeague, news has emerged regarding Israeli teams being able to play their home games in Israel again starting from December 1, 2025.
In an unofficial meeting held by the EuroLeague management on October 21, 2025, evaluations regarding the matches of Israeli teams were made.
Although it was stated in the press release shared by EuroLeague after the meeting and in the statements made by EuroLeague CEO Paulius Motiejunas to the press that all members acted in consensus during the decision-making process, no voting took place in the mentioned meeting; only a decision was made to follow up on the issue. Anadolu Efes Sports Club and Fenerbahçe Beko expressed their negative views on the matter and clearly articulated their concerns regarding the potential outcomes if a decision is made.
Our discussions with the relevant institutions of our state and the EuroLeague management regarding this issue are ongoing. Developments will be shared with the public."
