Master actor Kadir İnanır was taken into surgery on March 24 after suffering a stroke due to a blood clot in his brain and was intubated as a precaution. With the treatment progressing well, İnanır was moved out of intensive care on April 1 and discharged on April 4. İnanır began receiving treatment again last August due to an infection in his lungs. Responding to claims that Kadir İnanır had suffered a stroke and could not speak, his wife Jülide Kural said, "There were indeed difficult times during the months-long treatment process. However, the strength of Kadir from Fatsa, who carries the power, anger, joy, and, in short, the passion for life of the Black Sea in his heart, has always been determined to overcome all difficulties. I kindly ask you not to listen to the worthless programs of unqualified channels or the false news of the unfortunate ones chasing clicks for money." RETURNED HOME AFTER MONTHSThe artist, who was receiving treatment at Koç University Hospital, returned home earlier this week after his doctor gave approval. According to a report by Magazin Burada, the legendary figure of Yeşilçam will stay at home for a week. Whether İnanır will return to the hospital will be determined after tests conducted about a week later.
