Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Orkun Kökçü cannot find "Halal meat" in Portugal.

Portuguese representative Benfica has recently added Kerem Aktürkoğlu to their squad after transferring one of the stars of our national football team, Orkun Kökçü.

"HELAL ET" CONVERSATION CAUGHT ATTENTION

As the interest in both of our stars continues to grow due to their high performances, Benfica Club produced special content for the two Turkish football players. In the released video, the "Helal et" conversation between the two players caught attention. Kerem asked Orkun, "Are there any restaurants here or are they all on the Lisbon side?"

"HARD TO FIND HERE"

Orkun replied, "There are better restaurants on the Lisbon side. To be honest, there is one in the neighborhood where we live. But generally, I bring food home from here. Or when my mom or dad come, they cook." Later, Orkun mentioned that finding halal meat in Portugal is difficult. Orkun stated, "Also, the meats are a bit problematic; finding halal meat is a bit of a challenge."

"WE WILL GET IT FROM ISTANBUL"

Kerem responded to Orkun, "I talked to someone yesterday, and it’s really hard to find halal meat here. According to our own culture and religion. We will start bringing it from Istanbul or somewhere like that."
