A conversation from Lamiya Azazi, who was killed along with her father by her fiancé after she wanted to break up in Hatay, emerged from a jewelry store just 10 days before the incident. According to the claim, Azazi described being disturbed by her fiancé's extremely jealous behavior and considered leaving him for that reason.
A blood-chilling incident occurred on Thursday, June 18, in a container city in the Koçören neighborhood of Hatay's Defne district. According to reports, a disagreement arose between Lamiya Azazi (30) and Üstün Ç. (33), who had been engaged about 6 months ago. Üstün Ç., who came to the container where Azazi, who had decided to separate, lived, began arguing with his fiancée and her father, Yusuf Azazi (65). As the argument escalated, Üstün Ç. opened fire on the father and daughter with a pistol he had brought.
FATHER AND DAUGHTER BURIED
The father and daughter collapsed in a pool of blood from bullets hitting various parts of their bodies, while the suspect fled. Upon notification from those nearby, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. During the health team's check, it was determined that Lamiya Azazi and her father Yusuf Azazi had lost their lives. The bodies of the father and daughter were laid to rest amid tears after a funeral prayer at Aknehir Asri Cemetery.
FOOTAGE FROM JEWELRY STORE EMERGES
Security camera footage has emerged showing Lamiya Azazi confiding in the shop owner while at a jewelry store 10 days before the incident to buy a bracelet. It is claimed that Azazi told the shop owner that her fiancé constantly called her out of jealousy, got angry when she didn't answer, and that she was therefore considering leaving him.
