As a result of a landslide in the Turkish district of Türkeli in Sinop, 2 houses and 1 barn were destroyed. During the landslide, 2 of the 4 people in the collapsed houses managed to escape from the debris on their own. A couple who were trapped under the rubble were rescued after 3.5 hours of work by the teams and were taken to the hospital.

Özarslan stated that 2 houses and 1 barn were damaged in the landslide, that there were 4 people in the houses, that 2 people managed to escape on their own, and that the husband and wife trapped under the rubble were rescued after 3.5 hours of work and taken to Ayancık State Hospital.
