Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım left the congress after the decision to appoint Vefa Küçük as the election manager, citing the lack of vote counting. One of the speakers at the tense congress was journalist Lube Ayar. Ayar's speech caused a great stir with its implication of match-fixing towards Yıldırım.

CAUSED A BIG REACTION

These words infuriated Aziz Yıldırım's supporters. One of the individuals who reacted to this statement was former Fenerbahçe player Emenike. Quoting Lube Ayar's speech on his social media account, Emenike said, "What is this? You are not Fenerbahçe. Hearing this is disgusting. They are the club's permanent legends, you will never be. No one can erase the years, blood, sweat, and tears sacrificed for the club. Regardless of anything, I wish the best for the badge."
