GOVERNOR AND POLICE CHIEF CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION AT THE SCENE
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, Uzunköprü District Governor Onur Kökçü, Edirne Police Chief Onur Karaburun, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Mehmet Kasım Ermiş, and Provincial Health Director İshak Yıldırım received information at the accident site. Governor Sezer stated, "The car lost control and crashed into a tree. 5 people lost their lives, including 2 under the age of 10, and 1 person was injured."
