The body of Elena Beyder Usluca, who was reported missing in Antalya in 2018, was found in skeletal form during excavation work in a wooded area. While the suspect husband was arrested, his brother, who assisted in hiding the body, was released with a travel ban.

The foreign national woman who has been missing for about 7 years in Antalya was found to have been killed by her husband.

The incident began on December 25, 2018, when M.E.U. filed a missing person report at the Muratpaşa Demircikara Police Station. M.E.U. claimed that his wife, Elena Beyder Usluca, left home on November 24 and did not return for a month, stating that she was a cancer patient and occasionally left the house. However, as a result of detailed investigations, it was determined that there had been no news from Elena Beyder Usluca to date, there was no record of her leaving the country, and the bank/HTS records also supported the suspicious situation.

HIS BROTHER ASSISTED IN HIDING THE BODY

As a result of approximately 1 year of technical and physical surveillance, it was determined that Usluca was killed by her husband between November 24-26, 2018, and that the suspect M.E.U.'s brother, R.U., assisted in hiding the body after the incident. The suspects were taken into custody in a simultaneous operation.

During the location demonstration, skeletal remains believed to belong to the woman were found. Among the suspects sent to the courthouse, R.U. was released under judicial control, while his wife M.E.U. was arrested and sent to prison.
