The Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and the Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek are announcing the Medium-Term Program that will cover the years 2025-2027. Highlights from Vice President Yılmaz's statements:We have gathered to share with you the policy framework, objectives, and implementation tools of the Medium-Term Program that will shape the future three years of the Turkish economy. We will present our approach in the Program on how we will follow a roadmap in critical areas such as the growth of our economy, employment outlook, financial and price stability. I wish the new MTP period to be beneficial for our country and our nation. The Medium-Term Program, which is a fundamental policy document prepared for a three-year perspective, is jointly prepared by our Strategy and Budget Presidency and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and is formalized with the signature of our President. The purpose of this Program is to determine macroeconomic policies and address key economic indicators, income and expenditure estimates, budget balance, and borrowing situation. It also includes the budget proposal ceilings of public administrations. 'WE ELIMINATED UNCERTAINTIES IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ELECTIONS'The MTP sets out the macroeconomic policy framework and objectives, as well as the priority reform areas and timetable. In this context, the policies and reforms identified to ensure economic stability and support sustainable growth will shape the roadmap of our economy in the next three years. As you know, with the general elections held last year, political uncertainties were eliminated in our country and a long period without elections began. We also eliminated policy uncertainties with the economic program we implemented immediately after the elections. With this updated Medium-Term Program, we will continue to implement policies that will ensure the stability and development of our country, and increase its welfare in a determined manner.
