Melike Şahin was overwhelmed with tears upon hearing the sad news from Narin and responded harshly to the audience's reaction.

The whole of Turkey was plunged into mourning today with the sad news of Narin's death. Famous figures, including singer Melike Şahin, also expressed their reactions to the Narin murder. Şahin, unable to hold back her tears while expressing her emotions during a concert, became very angry at the audience's reaction of "Don't cry."

FAMILY MEMBERS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

The lifeless body of little Narin was found this morning, 19 days after she went missing. As part of the investigation, 23 people, including family members, were taken into custody, causing the whole of Turkey to mourn.

FORENSIC PRELIMINARY REPORT: SIGNS OF STRANGULATION ON THE NECK

As the little girl's body was taken to the forensic medicine institution for autopsy, details began to emerge. Journalist Emrullah Erdinç stated on his social media account, "According to Narin Güran's forensic preliminary report, signs of strangulation were found on her neck, it was determined that she had been in water for 15 days, and she had a broken foot."

HEARTBREAKING DETAIL: HER QURAN, BAG, AND SLIPPERS WERE ALSO IN THE BAG

Diyarbakır Bar Association President Nahit Eren Eren, who came to the Forensic Medicine Institution where Narin Güran's autopsy procedures were ongoing, revealed the heartbreaking detail. Eren said, "The bag and Narin's belongings, including her Quran, bag, and slippers, were also in the bag. All of these are evidence and are being examined. At the moment, a preliminary report will be prepared, but it is difficult to say anything without pathological and biological examinations, research, and reports. Approximately 13-14 experts are working inside."

Diyarbakır Governor Zorluoğlu, who provided details about the incident, said, "It has been determined that she was placed inside a sack after being killed, brought to the edge of the river, placed in the water, and covered with tree branches and stones to give a natural appearance and avoid suspicion."

Diyarbakır Governor Murat Zorluoğlu, who shared details about Narin's murder, said, "When the missing child Narin Güran was last seen, she was found dead in the morning around 08:45, hidden in a sack by the river, with her personal clothes on."

According to initial findings, it has been understood that after Narin Güran was killed, she was placed inside a sack, brought to the edge of the river, placed in the water, and covered with tree branches and stones to give a natural appearance and avoid suspicion. As part of our search efforts, all previously searched areas were searched again, and our expert gendarmerie teams reached the body of our missing girl in the Eğertutmaz Stream area," he said.

FAMOUS FIGURES DID NOT REMAIN INDIFFERENT

Famous figures also reacted to the heartbreaking news that plunged the entire country into mourning. One of these figures was famous singer Melike Şahin. Şahin wanted to express her emotions while giving a concert. Şahin, who started crying emotionally at that moment, said, "I'm sorry for my emotions, but I can't hide them from you."

When a member of the audience shouted, "Don't cry," Melike Şahin said, "I won't ask you whether I should cry or not. I won't ask anyone." After these words, the audience applauded enthusiastically.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 21, when Narin Güran went to a Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, she did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her on their own. When no results were obtained from the search, Narin's father, Arif Güran, reported her missing on the same day around 8:00 PM. As a result, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village.

While the search was ongoing, Narin's brother E. G. (18) was taken into custody due to bite marks on his arm. When it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin in the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institution, E. G. was released.

Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples from Narin's clothes, was arrested on charges of "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty."

Teams, who focused on previously searched areas again, conducted a search in the Eğertutmaz Stream area, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and reached the lifeless body of Narin.

It was determined that Narin was killed and thrown into the stream with a sack, and her body was covered with stones.
