In the Darende district of Malatya, driver Özgür Doğan and his wife Tuba Doğan lost their lives after their car went out of control and hit a tree. In the accident, 4 people, including 3 children, were injured, and one of the seriously injured, Ruken Kaçmen, was transferred to Malatya by ambulance helicopter. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
In the Darende district of Malatya, driver Özgür Doğan and his wife Tuba Doğan lost their lives when their car went out of control and hit a tree. Three children and one other person were injured in the accident.
CAR HITS TREE
The accident occurred during midday in the Medişeyh neighborhood of Darende district. The car with license plate 34 AAY 806, driven by Özgür Doğan, hit a roadside tree after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
Upon reports from those who witnessed the accident, health, fire, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
COUPLE LOSES THEIR LIVES
Health teams determined that driver Özgür Doğan died at the scene.
His seriously injured wife Tuba Doğan, along with Elif Nur Doğan (12), Nisa Nur Doğan (7), Hira İkra Doğan (1), and Ruken Kaçmen (18), were taken to Darende Hulusi Efendi State Hospital by ambulances. However, Tuba Doğan could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital.
TREATMENT OF INJURED CONTINUES
Among the injured, Ruken Kaçmen was transferred to Malatya by a Ministry of Health ambulance helicopter. It was learned that the other injured individuals continue to receive treatment. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
