According to the Governors' Decree published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, 7 governors were recalled to the center, while there were changes in 19 governorships.
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the governors of many cities have changed.
HERE ARE THE CITIES WITH CHANGED GOVERNORS
With the published decision, the governors of Düzce, Iğdır, Aksaray, Yalova, Eskişehir, Denizli, Trabzon, Karaman, Çankırı, Niğde, Ağrı, Ardahan, Bingöl, Kilis, Kırıkkale, Giresun, Osmaniye, Adana, and Karabük have changed. 7 of the governors were reassigned to central positions, while 12 had their duty locations changed.
On the other hand, Çankaya District Governor Murat Duru was appointed as the Governor of Aksaray, and Sarıyer District Governor Ömer Kalaylı was appointed as the Governor of Kilis.
Governor-Municipality Chief Inspector Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim was appointed as the Governor of Kırıkkale, and Oktay Çağatay was appointed as the Governor of Karabük. The Head of the Education Department, Hüseyin Çakırtaş, was appointed as the Governor of Çankırı, while Deputy President of AFAD Önder Bozkurt was appointed as the Governor of Ağrı.
