“SHE LEFT A LEGACY OF KNOWLEDGE AND MORALITY”
Announcing the sad news on his social media accounts, Minister Çiftçi included the following statements in his message: "I learned with deep sorrow the passing of my precious teacher Ayşe, who taught us not only letters but also literature, patience, and good morals during our primary school years, and from whom I received her blessing during my recent hospital visit. I believe that the charity that continues to flow (sadaqa jariyah) of my teacher, who left us a legacy of knowledge and morality through her efforts, compassion, and kindness in the modest classrooms of Okçu Şehit Mehmet Kefeli Primary School in Çumra, Konya, lives on in every student she raised. I pray to Almighty Allah for mercy and forgiveness for my dear teacher who has passed away, and I pray that her place be Paradise and her station be exalted. I wish patience and fortitude to her family and loved ones."
