"TURKEY WAS SAVED FROM THE EDGE OF THE ABYSS"

Ala, who stated that the services, intelligence organizations, and states outside of Turkey wanted to drag the country into a swamp using the FETO puppet, said the following: "They tried to do the same thing on December 17-25, but when they couldn't succeed there, they attempted a coup on July 15. December 17-25 was also a coup attempt. The issue was resolved with the resolute and courageous leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the foresight of our people who stood behind him, and Turkey was saved from the edge of the abyss. It should be well understood. The issue of how much Turkey would have paid should never be forgotten if such a thing had succeeded."

"DEMOLISH THE TRT BUILDING IF NECESSARY"

Ala, who described the events of the night of July 15, continued as follows: "When the declaration was read on TRT on July 15, since we knew very well the functions of institutions like TRT in these coup attempts, I called our General Director of Security and gave the instruction 'demolish the TRT building if necessary, let them be buried under it, but clean these coup plotters from there'.

Right across from TRT, we have our Intelligence Unit of the Police. Former FETO members who were dismissed from there tried to come together by exchanging messages and communicating to take over the intelligence. When my instruction regarding TRT reached them, our security units took 120 soldiers who read the declaration and brought them to the basement of the intelligence department of the police and they also formed a separate team with the weapons they took from them."

"THE COUP PLOTTERS WILL BE MET WITH GUNS"

Ala, who stated that he learned about the coup attempt at the airport in Ankara after returning from Erzurum where Health Minister Recep Akdag attended his uncle's funeral, said, "As soon as we landed, our friends told me that some tanks were coming towards the airport. As soon as I landed, I did this: I called the General Director of Security, the relevant authorities, and said 'there must be a response with guns. There will never be submission to them, no concessions will be made, and the coup will be resisted with guns.' Send all these instructions as my order to the entire organization, to the police. We called our friends at the Ministry of Interior and gave these instructions to all other units. and the instructions will be carried out. I said 'No one should have any doubts, and they won't'."
