The Minister of Justice, Yılmaz Tunç, shared a message on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, emphasizing the principle of zero tolerance against all forms of violence against women. Tunç stated, "We see violence against women as a betrayal directed at the entire human family."

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, in a statement made on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25, described violence against women as the most serious attack on society and human dignity. Tunç emphasized that they will resolutely fight against all forms of violence.

"BETRAYAL TO HUMANITY"

Minister Tunç stated, "We unequivocally reject violence against women; because it signifies a betrayal against the human family." In his message, he expressed the following:

"Violence against women is the ugliest attack directed at human dignity. We categorically reject all forms of violence, especially that directed at women. Because we see violence against women as a betrayal directed at the entire human family."

EMPHASIS ON DETERMINATION WITH THE NATIONAL ACTION PLAN

Tunç noted that efforts will continue within the framework of the 2026-2030 National Action Plan to Combat Violence Against Women, published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Minister Tunç stated that in line with the plan, efforts to prevent violence, protect families, strengthen women's access to justice, and implement important regulations will continue resolutely, and he said, "On November 25, we once again emphasize: We will fight against all forms of violence with determination."

In his message, Tunç called on all segments of society to be sensitive to violence, and his statement was as follows:
