MoD: "The blood of our martyrs did not go in vain" Two terrorists were neutralized.

The Minister of Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, stated in a social media post that the "Gürz-14" operation was carried out in the rural area of Lice as a result of intelligence work conducted by the Intelligence Directorate of the Gendarmerie General Command and the Counterterrorism Department. He mentioned that Hebun Piro Amed, the so-called responsible of Amed Province in the Red category, and Fehmi Başkurt, also known as Botan (K) in the Gray category, were neutralized by the security forces. This operation in Ankara is considered as part of the determined fight against terrorist activities.

"WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THE LAST TERRORIST IS NEUTRALIZED"

Yerlikaya announced that Zırav Taş, who was wanted in the Red category, and Fehmi Başkurt, who was wanted in the Gray category, were neutralized along with their weapons as a result of the clash that occurred during the search and contact operation carried out with the participation of Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH), Gendarmerie Commando teams, and security guards with the support of Jandarma ATAK attack helicopters and J-SİHA. He stated the following:

"The blood of our martyrs did not go in vain; it was determined that they participated in a total of 6 attacks in which 3 security personnel and 5 civilian citizens were martyred, and 4 security personnel were injured. I wish a speedy recovery to our brave security guard who was injured during the operation. I congratulate the heroic gendarmerie and security guards who carried out the operation. May Allah protect them. We will not stop, we will not hesitate until the last terrorist is neutralized."
