In Büyükçekmece, following a report of a young man being shot dead, his body was found as a result of the investigations conducted.
On the evening of May 15, police teams launched an investigation following a report that a person was shot dead on 3052 Street in Akçaburgaz Neighborhood, Esenyurt. In his statement to the police, M.K. (17) stated that Yasin İ. (22) picked him and his friend Akın Süer (22) up from Esenyurt by car at their invitation, took them to Karaağaç Neighborhood in Büyükçekmece, and that Yasin İ. forcibly removed Akın Süer from the car and shot him dead. After the incident, he reported that he was left in Akçaburgaz.
WORK CONTINUES TO CAPTURE THE MURDER SUSPECT
Following this, police teams reached Süer's body at the location indicated by M.K. Since the area is under the jurisdiction of the Büyükçekmece District Gendarmerie Command, M.K. was handed over to the gendarmerie teams. Efforts to capture Yasin İ., who was found to have 22 records for various crimes, are ongoing.
