The life story of 15-year-old Erdem Demir, who was stabbed to death in a fight on the coast of Karşıyaka, İzmir, has been heartbreaking. It was learned that Demir spent his childhood in a children's home, and after being stabbed, he tried to take refuge in a café in a desperate effort to save himself, but he could not be rescued. It was revealed that the 18-year-old murder suspect has a criminal record of 25 separate offenses.
In the Karsiyaka district of Izmir, a dispute between individuals with a prior feud on the seaside quickly turned into a fight. According to claims, 18-year-old C.C. severely injured 15-year-old middle school student Erdem Demir with a cutting tool he had. Security camera footage showed the injured Demir taking refuge in a cafe in a desperate attempt to save his life, while the suspect was blocked by citizens. Erdem Demir, taken to the hospital, succumbed to his injuries despite all medical interventions, and his body was laid to rest in the Salihli district of Manisa. Following the incident, C.C. and D.K., who was identified as being involved in the fight, were arrested on charges of 'premeditated murder' by the court they were brought before.

MURDER SUSPECT TURNED OUT TO BE A CRIME MACHINE
It emerged that the murder suspect C.C. (18), caught red-handed by police teams after the incident, was virtually a crime machine. C.C., who was said to work at a motorcycle repair shop, was found to have a total of 25 separate criminal records for various offenses including property damage, intentional injury, drug use, threats, insult, open theft, theft from a workplace, and motorcycle theft.

The incident occurred on June 7 at Karsiyaka Beach when a dispute arising from a previous feud between the parties turned into a fight. According to claims, 18-year-old C.C. severely injured Erdem Demir with a cutting tool he had, while D.K. (19), who was with C.C., also joined the fight.
Security camera footage from immediately after the murder revealed the horror moment by moment. The recordings showed Demir, seriously injured by a knife blow, clutching his stomach and running to a cafe with customers, desperately taking refuge there. In the continuation of the footage, the suspect C.C., coming toward the cafe after Demir, was seen being blocked and removed by sensitive citizens in front of the cafe. Demir's friends arriving at the cafe in panic after the incident and the fearful moments experienced by customers were also captured on camera.
DIED IN HOSPITAL, 2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Erdem Demir, who received initial first aid from health teams dispatched to the area upon notification by nearby citizens and was taken to a private hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all medical interventions and passed away. The body of 15-year-old Erdem was laid to rest yesterday in his hometown of Salihli, Manisa.
