Seismologist Professor Dr. Naci Görür responded to the question, "Should we enter our homes?" following the earthquake in Istanbul. The 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Istanbul caused great panic in the city. After the earthquake, more than 100 aftershocks occurred, the largest of which was 5.9 in magnitude.
CITIZENS COULDN'T ENTER THEIR HOMES
After the earthquake, citizens flocked to the streets. Afraid to enter their homes, citizens began to wait in parks and gardens. In some places, tents were also set up.

Meanwhile, the biggest question on the minds of Istanbul residents was 'Should we enter our homes?'. The answer to this question came from earthquake scientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür.
In a statement on his social media account, Görür said, "Friends are asking whether we should enter our homes or not. My assistant is also receiving many questions."
