The athlete stated in a video she shared on her social media account that her face was swollen, saying, "I was affected by the evil eye." However, shortly after, claims emerged on some social media pages that Karadere was involved in a fight and was assaulted.

Following the allegations, Karadere made a statement. The famous athlete emphasized that the swelling on her face was not due to any assault or fight, but rather a health-related issue. They might think that because of my character in Survivor. That image of mine is from my Survivor final. It is completely a problem related to me.
