The Ministry of Health launched an investigation following claims in images shared on social media by a citizen regarding the cleanliness and hygiene conditions at the Health Sciences University (SBU) Gulhane Training and Research Hospital.

A citizen in Istanbul took his sick grandmother to Gulhane Training and Research Hospital. The video the citizen shot, reacting to the hygiene conditions at the hospital, was shared on social media.
Upon this, it was learned that, upon the instruction of Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu, an investigation was initiated into the claims regarding the hospital and an inspector was assigned.
