GUARDS STOPPED THE VEHICLE AFTER A REPORT
The incident occurred on Ebulfez Elçibey Street in the Taşpazar neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the police pursued vehicle 68 ADM 021, which citizens had repeatedly reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center because a female driver was following them and constantly driving dangerously. Guards patrolling the street stopped the vehicle on the street shortly afterward.
FINE ISSUED FOR INAPPROPRIATE TIRES AND RIMS
The driver, identified as A.K. (22), whose license and registration were checked, was also subjected to an alcohol test by traffic teams called to the scene. In the examination, the driver, who had 0.12 promille of alcohol, below the legal limit, was found to have inappropriate tires and rims during an inspection of the vehicle.
Consequently, the driver was fined 5,000 lira. While the penalty procedures were being carried out, the driver told members of the press, "Don't take pictures of me, I am military personnel." The driver, who also tried to sweet-talk the police officers, could not escape the fine.
