Bakery sealed in Şanlıurfa after stomach-churning images emerged during municipal inspection.
Teams from the Haliliye Municipality Police Department, together with personnel from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, conducted an inspection at a business named Konuklu Unlu Mamulleri operating in the Konuklu Neighborhood.
INSECT FOUND INSIDE THE DESSERT
During the inspection, it was determined that products were not stored under appropriate conditions, hygiene standards in the production areas were not met, and practices misleading consumers were employed. An insect was found inside the dessert.
PEANUT INSTEAD OF PISTACHIO
In the inspections, it was determined that peanuts were used instead of pistachios in some products labeled as containing pistachios. Legal proceedings were initiated against the business due to violations that put public health at risk.
In line with the inspection reports, an administrative fine of 132,108 TL was imposed on the business, and its operations were terminated by sealing the workplace.
