The first World Cup Group D match of the National Team against Australia on June 14 will be officiated by Venezuelan referee Jesus Valenzuela. His assistants will be Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno, while Peruvian Michael Orue will serve as VAR.

The referee for the match against Australia in our National Football Team's first World Cup Group D match has been announced.

MATCH REFEREE: JESUS VALENZUELA

The match will be officiated by Jesus Valenzuela from the Venezuelan Football Federation. His assistants will be Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno. The VAR will be Michael Orue from Peru.

WORLD CUP EXPERIENCE

Born in 1983, Jesus Valenzuela has held the FIFA badge since 2013. The experienced referee also officiated in the 2022 World Cup and has been regarded as one of the most important referees in Venezuelan football.

FIRST TEST AUSTRALIA

Our National Team will face Australia in its first World Cup match on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The match will take place at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, starting at 07:00 TSİ.
