Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, and occupying soldiers raided the home of a Palestinian in the Tulkarim Camp located in the northern West Bank.
PARTICIPATED IN THE RAID ON THE PALESTINIAN HOME
In a photo shared on social media, Katz is seen inside a Palestinian home in the camp surrounded by numerous soldiers. It is also understood that Israeli soldiers hung an Israeli flag on the wall of the Palestinian family's house. Israeli soldiers had previously shared similar images from Palestinian homes. Following the explosions on three buses in Bat-Yam, south of Tel Aviv, Defense Minister Katz ordered the army to increase attacks in the occupied West Bank. It was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also instructed the army to carry out a "strong operation" in the West Bank, and after his decision, three additional battalions were sent to the region.
ORDER FOR MILITARY OPERATION IN THE WEST BANK
Last night, there were consecutive explosions on three buses in Bat-Yam, south of Tel Aviv. After the explosions, metro services were halted, but no casualties were reported. It was stated that an investigation into the incident had been initiated. Following the bus attack near Tel Aviv, Netanyahu ordered a military operation in the West Bank.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON THE NORTHERN WEST BANK
After the ceasefire reached in Gaza came into effect on Sunday, January 19, the Israeli army launched an attack named "Iron Wall" on the city of Jenin located in the northern West Bank on Tuesday, January 21. The Israeli army expanded its violent attacks in Jenin on January 27 to include Tulkarim and on February 2 to cover the Al-Faria Refugee Camp in Tubas and the town of Tamun, withdrawing its forces from Tamun on February 8 after a seven-day siege. On February 9, Israeli soldiers expanded their attacks to include the Nur Shams Camp east of Tulkarim. Since January 21, at least 56 Palestinians have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by the Israeli army, thousands have been injured, and structures and infrastructure in the region have been extensively damaged. Since October 7, 2023, in the attacks by Israeli soldiers and Israeli settlers on occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, 920 Palestinians, including 167 children, have lost their lives, and nearly 7,000 people have been injured.
