The Ministry of Trade has enhanced the features of its mobile application by adding new modules to prevent unfair price increases. The application aims to contribute to the protection of consumer rights by making it easier to report issues.
The Ministry of Trade has improved the usage features of the "Unfair Price Increase (HFA) Notification Mobile Application" by adding new modules. In a statement made by the Ministry, it was noted that the use of this mobile application has become widespread, and it aims to prevent some businesses from victimizing consumers through unfair price increases and to support the establishment of a transparent and fair commercial environment.
EVERY INCIDENT WILL BE INVESTIGATED
In the statement, it was reported that the mobile application, with its user-friendly interface, allows citizens to easily report the negative experiences they encounter. It emphasized that necessary information will be meticulously recorded and quickly forwarded to the relevant authorities. The statement included, "Every reported incident will be thoroughly investigated, and if necessary, coordinated interventions will be made with other relevant institutions to address all issues that victimized our citizens with sensitivity."
WILL HELP PROTECT CONSUMER RIGHTS
Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the mobile application is an important step in protecting consumer rights and ensuring fair market competition. It was stated that through the notifications made by citizens via the application, unfair price increases will be detected and prevented, and healthier pricing policies will be adopted in the sectors. It was noted that the HFA Mobile Application can be accessed through the "Apple Store" and "Google Play," and the following information was shared: Access to the mobile application can be made using e-Government accounts. When making a notification, the ability to upload 5 photos has been provided, a location addition feature has been added, and the description area has been expanded. The statement emphasized that the Ministry will continue its efforts to ensure a fair commercial life alongside the protection of citizens' economic interests.
