Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that despite the ceasefire in Gaza, they are determined to eliminate Hamas. Netanyahu threatened, "We will eradicate Hamas and bring back our hostages."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that despite the ceasefire achieved in Gaza, they are determined to eliminate Hamas. Netanyahu has come under criticism regarding the delegation that went to Doha for prisoner exchange negotiations.

NETANYAHU'S THREAT TO HAMAS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been criticized for following the fifth round of prisoner exchanges between Hamas and Israel from Washington, claimed that they would eliminate Hamas despite the ceasefire in Gaza. In a post on his X account, Netanyahu asserted that they would eradicate Hamas and bring back all hostages.

"WE WILL ELIMINATE HAMAS"

Netanyahu, who claimed that they would do everything to ensure the return of all Israeli hostages in Gaza, stated that he told the delegation going to Doha, the capital of Qatar, for negotiations on maintaining the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement to convey the demand for the return of all hostages to the mediators. Netanyahu expressed that he shares the same thoughts as U.S. President Donald Trump, who proposed ideas about forcibly displacing Palestinians in Gaza and taking control of Gaza, and threatened, "We will eliminate Hamas and bring back our hostages."

183 PALESTINIAN HOSTAGES RELEASED IN EXCHANGE FOR 3 ISRAELI HOSTAGES

In the fifth round of prisoner exchanges between Hamas and Israel, 183 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails were released in exchange for 3 Israeli hostages in Gaza. Israel stated that it conveyed its "concerns" to the mediating countries (the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt) due to the weakened appearance of the released hostages after 15 months of heavy Israeli bombardment and the use of hunger as a weapon in Gaza.

NETANYAHU HAS BEEN THE TARGET OF CRITICISM

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who followed the fifth round of prisoner exchanges between Hamas and Israel from Washington, has been the target of criticism from hostage families and the opposition in his country.

Relatives of hostages and opposition figures harshly criticized Netanyahu, claiming that he did not authorize the Israeli negotiation team, which was expected to go to Doha and did not return from the U.S., to conduct the second phase of negotiations for the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.

The armed wing of Hamas, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, hung a large banner over the platform where Israeli hostages would be delivered in the fifth round of the exchange agreement, stating, "We are your doom. We are the day after the war." The statement, written in Arabic, Hebrew, and English, was a response to U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks about forcibly displacing Palestinians in Gaza and how governance in Gaza would be after the war, stating, "Gaza will be handed over to the U.S. by Israel when the conflicts end."
