In an operation conducted by gendarmerie teams in Niğde, six individuals attempting to sell a mummy determined to be from the Middle Ages were taken into custody.
Teams from the Niğde Provincial Gendarmerie Command detected individuals attempting to sell a historical mummy in the town of Kemerhisar, located in the Bor district of Niğde, and carried out an operation at the identified address.
MEDIEVAL MUMMY SEIZED
During the operation, a mummy determined to belong to the Medieval period was seized in a search conducted at the residence of an individual named H.G. Six suspects were detained in connection with the incident.

In a statement made by the Niğde Governorship, it was expressed: "We thank our gendarmerie organization for their dedicated efforts in protecting our country's cultural heritage and congratulate them for their successful operations.
