PRODUCTS THREATENING HEALTH DESTROYED
According to Ekol TV's news; in the operation coordinated by the Akyurt Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that illegal beef and chicken meats were stored in the facilities. Products and various equipment seized during the searches were confiscated. After sample examinations, all products were destroyed.
14.5 MILLION LIRA WORTH OF ILLEGAL MEAT
It was learned that the market value of the seized illegal products was 14.5 million lira. The activities of the facilities, which disregard human health, were halted by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
SOLD TO PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS
The two suspects who were detained confessed in their statements that they sold the illegal meats to some public institutions. Among these institutions were Gölbaşı Police College, National Library, and Sincan Open Penal Institution. Following the confessions, instructions were given to contact the relevant institutions.

- 150 kilograms of chicken stuffing
- 640 kilograms of chicken meat
- 4,240 kilograms of beef fat
- 2,225 kilograms of breadcrumbs
- 80 kilograms of chicken skin
- 1,440 kilograms of beef
- 120 kilograms of beef sausage
- 120 kilograms of offal
- 230 kilograms of turkey meat
- 6 meat grinding machines
Products without labels and of unknown origin:
- 1,250 kilograms of beef and chicken products
- 20 kilograms of soy of unknown origin
- 35 kilograms of pea fiber
- 10 kilograms of ascorbic acid
- 500 grams of plasma emulsifier
- 1 kilogram of unknown chemical substance
All products from which samples were taken were destroyed.
