Ferdi Aras (22), who was stabbed to death by a father and son in a dispute over 'looking sideways' on a metrobus in Beylikdüzü, has died. New footage of the incident has emerged.
In Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district, B.B. and his father M.B. argued with Ferdi Aras (22) on a metrobus due to a 'sidelong glance.' After getting off the metrobus, the father and son followed Aras for a while and seriously wounded him with a knife. Ferdi Aras was taken to the hospital but could not be saved despite all interventions. New footage related to the murder has emerged. Meanwhile, it was learned that Aras had boarded the metrobus to meet his fiancee and her mother.
The incident occurred on June 8 at around 17:00 at the Beylikdüzü Metrobus stop. According to the claim, an argument broke out between B.B. and his father M.B. and Ferdi Aras over a 'sidelong glance.' The argument ended when other passengers intervened, and Ferdi Aras got off the metrobus.
The suspect father and son, who also got off at the same stop, started arguing again with Ferdi Aras. The escalating argument turned into a knife fight. In the fight, Ferdi Aras was stabbed and injured. Upon the report of citizens who witnessed the incident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Police teams took security measures in the area and launched an investigation into the incident.
Ferdi Aras, who was determined to be seriously injured, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the initial intervention by health teams at the scene. Despite all interventions at the hospital, Aras lost his life.
Following the investigation launched by police teams, suspect B.B. and his father M.G. were taken into custody. Suspect B.B. was arrested on charges of 'intentional killing,' while the father was released under judicial supervision.
