The footage shows a building partially collapsing due to the violent tremors, causing widespread panic in the vicinity. The death toll from the earthquakes has risen to 1,430, while the number of injured has increased to 3,238.

EARTHQUAKE MOMENT CAPTURED ON SECURITY CAMERA

In the security camera footage that was recording during the earthquake, the building was seen sustaining major damage as the tremors began. Unable to withstand the violent shaking, the partially collapsed building prompted citizens nearby to flee the area for their lives.

The panic-stricken moments were captured second by second on the security camera, with the footage once again highlighting the severity of the earthquake.

DEATH TOLL RISES TO 1,430

Venezuela was struck by two major earthquakes on Wednesday at approximately 6:04 PM local time, first a 7.2 magnitude quake followed 39 seconds later by one of 7.5 magnitude. After the earthquakes caused widespread destruction in many regions, Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez announced that the death toll had reached at least 1,430, with at least 3,238 injured.
