The body of a newborn baby was found in a garbage bag by cleaning staff in the emergency room toilet of Çanakkale Ezine State Hospital. Following the examination by police and hospital officials, the body was taken to the forensic medicine unit, and an investigation has been launched.
A newborn baby's body was found in the restroom of the emergency department at Ezine State Hospital in Çanakkale. According to the information obtained, hospital cleaning staff discovered the newborn baby's body inside a trash bag in the emergency department restroom.
THE BABY WAS DETERMINED TO BE 2-3 DAYS OLD
Upon notification by the staff, police and hospital officials arrived at the scene.
During the examination, the baby, determined to have been born 2-3 days ago, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Unit of Çanakkale Mehmet Akif Ersoy State Hospital, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
