In an operation targeting massage parlors identified as engaging in prostitution in Antalya, 8 suspects were taken into custody. The operation resulted in the seizure of assets exceeding 42 million TL, including luxury vehicles, apartments, and jewelry.

The Antalya Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch's Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau teams initiated judicial and administrative proceedings against the managers, employees, and responsible parties of certain massage parlors operating in the city, following information that prostitution was taking place in these establishments.



SIMULTANEOUS OPERATIONS IN 2 PROVINCES



Based on findings obtained during the investigation indicating that criminal proceeds were being laundered, a project named "Sheet" was launched. In this context, simultaneous operations were carried out in 2 provinces. A total of 8 suspects were captured and taken into custody during the operations.



42 MILLION LIRA SEIZED



In accordance with the report of the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) and a court decision, approximately 42 million 180 thousand TL worth of 19 different brands and models of vehicles and 7 apartments, determined to belong to the suspects, were seized. During searches conducted at the suspects' addresses, 23 quarter gold coins, 1 half gold coin, 1 full gold coin, 20 gold bracelets, various jewelry items, 1,120 Turkish liras, notes related to the crime, and digital materials were confiscated.



8 SUSPECTS ARRESTED



Of the 8 suspects referred to the judicial authorities, 1 was arrested and sent to prison. It was reported that the investigation is ongoing and multifaceted.
