Beşiktaş is preparing to complete the transfer of Alexander Nübel as part of a goalkeeper signing. The German goalkeeper's agent came to Istanbul and held a meeting with the black-and-white officials. The black-and-white side reached an agreement with the player's party.
Before the new season, Beşiktaş pressed the button to strengthen the goalkeeper rotation and is counting down the days to find the name they are looking for.
NÜBEL TRANSFER NEARLY COMPLETE
The black-and-whites have made significant progress in the transfer of Bayern Munich's experienced goalkeeper Alexander Nübel. The German goalkeeper's agent came to Istanbul and held a meeting with the black-and-white officials. Having reached a positive outcome in the negotiations with the player's side, the Beşiktaş management shook hands with the German goalkeeper. As a result of negotiations with Alexander Nübel, who earns a net annual salary of 5.5 million euros from Bayern Munich, an agreement was reached for a guaranteed annual fee of 6 million euros.
TRANSFER FEE NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE
In the club-level talks, a common ground has not yet been reached. Beşiktaş's initial offer of 8 million euros to Bayern Munich was rejected by the German giant. Bayern Munich, who do not consider Nübel in their squad but want to generate high income from the player's transfer, opened the door at 20 million euros. In the talks where Nübel himself was directly involved, the Beşiktaş management is working intensively to bring this figure below double digits.
SEASON PERFORMANCE
The 27-year-old goalkeeper, who spent last season on loan with Stuttgart, conceded 69 goals in 46 official matches for his team and posted an average of 1.4 goals conceded per match.
