A civil engineer, accused of threatening his wife with death during divorce proceedings in Konya, raided his 16-year-old daughter's school despite a restraining order. The suspect, who allegedly made threats such as "I will become both a child killer and a wife killer," was released after legal procedures.
The 17-year marriage of Mustafa A., a civil engineer living in Konya, and his academic wife Ayşe A. has reached the point of divorce. Allegedly, Mustafa A. started threatening his wife, whom he lived apart from during the process, and their 16-year-old daughter. A no-prosecution decision was given regarding the complaint Ayşe A. previously filed alleging battery, threats, and insults. Upon this, the woman applied to the court, and a 3-month restraining order was issued on May 5th.
STORMED INTO HIS DAUGHTER'S SCHOOL
It was claimed that Mustafa A., who allegedly continued his threats despite the restraining order, sent a message to his high school student daughter saying, "That school will be destroyed over you." Then, he allegedly went to his daughter's school with his girlfriend.
The frightened young girl was taken into a room by her teachers, and it was reported that panic ensued at the school. The mother and daughter filed complaints against Mustafa A. and his girlfriend Medine Ç.
"I WILL BE BOTH A CHILD KILLER AND A WIFE KILLER"
According to Tolga Yanık's report in Sabah; Ayşe A. stated in her testimony that her ex-husband made death threats, saying, "My uncle called me and told me that Mustafa said he would kill me. My daughter also said that her father came to school with his girlfriend. So I pressed the KADES button."
Ayşe A. also claimed that the day before the incident, her ex-husband called his mother and said, "I will kill Ayşe. I will be both a child killer and a wife killer."
"LET HER COME OUT, I WILL KILL HER"
16-year-old A.N.A. described her terrifying moments with these words: "I heard my father shouting at school, 'Let her come out, I will kill her.' I was very scared, I couldn't leave the room. The other students were screaming too."
It was learned that the mother and daughter handed over the threatening messages to the police. It was stated that one of the messages contained the phrase "I will take your life."
RELEASED AFTER HIS TESTIMONY
Legal action was taken against Mustafa A. for violating the restraining order, threats, and insults. The suspect was released after police procedures.
