Evaluating the struggle, Okan Buruk said, "Actually, the match was not difficult, we made it difficult. We are among 16 teams. A Turkish team is in the last 16. We need to appreciate this. I am grateful for this. We passed this stage, but after going from 11 to 10, it seemed like our opponent was playing with one more player. We made too many mistakes. We conceded two goals."
