President Erdoğan's grandson, Deputy Chairman of the Young Diplomacy Association, Ömer Tayyip Erdoğan, made striking statements at the closing ceremony of the Bosphorus Diplomacy Forum.

Ömer Tayyip Erdoğan said, "Dear President and esteemed guests, we are gathered here today to heed the deepest call of humanity's boundaries, conscience, and compassion. With the Bosphorus Diplomacy Forum that we have brought to life, we want to showcase what diplomacy means for us young people and express our perspective on life. The ongoing crises in many parts of the world clearly reveal the deadlock that the international system has fallen into.

"WE ARE YOUNG PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE A HOPE FOR OUR NATION"

Diplomacy is not solely in the hands of a few powerful actors; it is a right and a common heritage for everyone. The Bosphorus Diplomacy Forum is a unique platform realized with this understanding. Today, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has not left us alone, sees our youth not only as the architects of the future but also as the driving force of change. I wholeheartedly believe that the energy, determination, and dreams of Turkish youth, who carry our civilizational heritage in their hearts, will leave a mark on this age as the Century of Turkey. We are young people who aspire to be a hope for our nation with our courage for the Century of Turkey, our perspective on life and diplomacy, and our faith.

The most important duty bestowed upon us by our civilizational heritage on this path is undoubtedly to raise our voices against the humanitarian tragedy occurring in Gaza. Calls for aid and solidarity must carry the vision of transforming the responsibility of humanity into concrete actions beyond words in diplomacy. Each young friend of mine participating in the Bosphorus Diplomacy Forum has demonstrated that diplomacy is not just about words, but gains meaning through conscience, solidarity, and compassion by pooling their pocket money together to donate to Gaza through the Turkish Red Crescent.

"AS THIS VOICE GROWS, THE WORLD WILL BECOME A FAIRER PLACE"

For us, the Young Diplomacy Association and the Bosphorus Diplomacy Forum embody this spirit. The vision presented here today is not just a youth event; it is also a strong call regarding the future international order. Young people have chosen to stand alongside justice and peace, raising a voice that represents the common conscience of humanity. We know that as this voice grows, the world will become a fairer and more livable place."
