An 81-year-old man who boarded a passenger bus traveling from Kayseri to Bursa passed away 700 kilometers before reaching his hometown. It was claimed that the man had taken sleeping pills before getting on the bus, and his daughter noticed he had died during a break. The elderly man's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute's morgue for the determination of the cause of death.
A heartbreaking death incident occurred on a passenger bus traveling from Kayseri to Bursa. According to the information obtained, Enver Ekiz (81) boarded the bus from Kayseri to return to his hometown with his daughter and son-in-law.
TOOK SLEEPING PILLS, NEVER WOKE UP AGAIN
Ekiz, who took sleeping pills on the bus, woke up after a while. When he asked for more sleeping pills, his daughter split the pill in half and gave it to her father. At the Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal, Ekiz's daughter nudged her father to wake him up. Realizing that Enver Ekiz did not respond and was not breathing, his daughter reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Service Line. Following the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
DIED 700 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM HIS HOMETOWN
Health teams that arrived at the scene determined after their checks that 81-year-old Ekiz had passed away. The lifeless body of Ekiz, who died 700 kilometers away from his hometown, was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for investigation of the exact cause of death. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
