The third hearing of the Newborn Gang case, which has caused a public outcry, continues on its second day. While roll call was being taken in the courtroom, the defense attorney for the detained defendant wanted to give water to his client, but the gendarmerie intervened. Tension arose in the courtroom when other defense attorneys reacted to the incident.

The third hearing of the case, in which 46 defendants, 25 of whom are detained, are being tried for allegedly transferring emergency infant patients to private hospitals' neonatal units they had previously agreed upon, causing their deaths and gaining unjust profits, continues on the second day. A number of detained and non-detained defendants, as well as the parties' lawyers, were present at the hearing held at the Bakırköy 22nd High Criminal Court.

During the hearing, while the roll call of the defendants was being taken, the defendant's lawyer wanted to give water to his detained client.
