When Sedair Kurnaz, who agreed with the seller for a house he wanted to buy in Bursa, went to get about 1 kilogram of gold he had saved for years to make the payment, he experienced a great shock. According to the claim, while the bag containing the gold was thrown into a container by his wife, who thought it was trash during cleaning, the police, municipal teams, and neighborhood residents mobilized to find the lost gold.
According to the claim in the Esenevler Neighborhood of Bursa's Yıldırım district, Sedair Kurnaz wrapped approximately 1 kilogram of gold (about 6.5 million TL) he saved to buy a house in Nilüfer district's Akçalar Neighborhood inside a dress at his home and stored it in a black plastic bag to protect against theft risk.
AGREED WITH THE HOMEOWNER BUT COULDN'T FIND HIS SAVINGS
Kurnaz, who agreed on the price with the homeowner, realized the bag containing the gold was not in its place when he wanted to make the payment. When he asked his wife about the situation, he faced the bitter truth. According to the claim, while Kurnaz's wife was cleaning the house, she mistook the black bag containing the gold for trash and threw it into the garbage container in front of the house.
SEARCHED EVERYWHERE METICULOUSLY
Upon learning the situation, Sedair Kurnaz searched through each garbage container in the neighborhood one by one, while also informing the municipal cleaning teams and police units. An investigation was launched to examine security cameras in the area, and neighborhood residents also supported the searches to find the missing gold.

Describing his unfortunate experience, Sedair Kurnaz said, "I had bought a house in Akçalar Neighborhood. We agreed on the price. I put about 1 kilogram of gold in a bag and hid it. While cleaning, my wife mistook the bag for trash and threw it out. We don't know if the garbage collectors took it or someone rummaging through the trash did. We informed the police and the cleaning department. The security cameras in the area will be examined. If anyone finds or sees the gold, we kindly ask them to contact us."
The police investigation into the incident continues.
