Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 67 suspects were apprehended in operations conducted in 7 provinces, and 42 of them were arrested. It was revealed that crimes such as fraud, usury, and human trafficking were committed during the operations.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 67 suspects were arrested and 42 of them were detained in operations targeting 7 separate organized crime groups involved in fraud, usury, and human trafficking in 7 provinces. According to the information shared by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, operations were carried out in coordination with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the Gendarmerie KOM Department; Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted operations against 7 separate organized crime groups in 7 provinces. It was determined that the suspects organized theft from 30 different businesses in Denizli, managed qualified fraud crimes in an organized manner in Yalova, committed transformer and energy transmission cable theft in Izmir, engaged in human trafficking crimes in Iğdır, and practiced usury in Muğla. They were also found to have connections with terrorist organizations in Tekirdağ and Şanlıurfa, defrauding citizens by demanding money.

A LARGE NUMBER OF DIGITAL MATERIALS AND CASH WERE SEIZED IN OPERATIONS

As a result of the operations, 67 suspects were caught, who had 251 million Turkish lira in account movements over the last 5 years. 42 of them were detained. Judicial control measures were applied to 23 of them. The procedures for the other 2 suspects are ongoing. Additionally, a large number of digital materials, various amounts of cash, and jewelry were seized as a result of the operations.
